1. About cabeazy

cabeazy is a ride-hailing platform that connects licensed Private Hire Vehicle (PHV) drivers with passengers. cabeazy operates as a technology platform and is not a transportation provider. All drivers on the platform are independently licensed by their respective local authority.

2. Eligibility

To use cabeazy as a passenger, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid payment method. To use cabeazy as a driver, you must hold a valid PHV licence issued by an approved licensing authority, valid vehicle insurance, and a roadworthy vehicle with a current MOT certificate.

3. Bookings & Fares

Fare estimates are provided before you confirm a booking. The final fare may vary based on route changes, waiting time, or toll charges. All fares are quoted in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed automatically via your saved payment method upon ride completion.

4. Cancellations

Passengers may cancel a booking at any time. If a driver has already been dispatched and is en route, a cancellation fee may apply. Drivers who repeatedly cancel accepted bookings may have their account reviewed.

5. Driver Subscription & Payments

cabeazy charges drivers a flat subscription (£50 per month or £15 per week) collected via GoCardless Direct Debit. Drivers may pause their subscription at the end of any billing period; while paused, no fee is charged and no rides are dispatched. The subscription total is final — cabeazy is not VAT-registered and there are no setup, joining, or per-ride fees.

Passengers pay their fare to cabeazy through the app at the end of each ride. cabeazy pays the driver the full fare — 100%, no commission deducted — by bank transfer on the Wednesday following the Monday–Sunday week in which the ride was completed. Driver payouts and the monthly subscription are two separate flows; the subscription is never deducted from a driver's fare earnings.

6. Safety & Conduct

All users must behave respectfully. cabeazy reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any account that violates our community guidelines, engages in unsafe behaviour, or receives consistently poor ratings. Both drivers and passengers can rate each other after every ride.

7. Liability

cabeazy acts as an intermediary between drivers and passengers. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the transportation service itself. Drivers are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage for their vehicles and passengers.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. cabeazy may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use of cabeazy after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
